I am but a child in a shell,
that cries every night and day.
I am but a girl in a shell,
that begs mercy from bullies.
I am but a woman in a shell,
that fears those who do not accept.
By day I walk alone,
covered from being touched.
By night I lay down,
crying myself to sleep.
For I wish to be release,
from my very own shell.
I am but a child, that seeks for her mother.
I am but a girl, that seeks for love.
I am but a woman, that seeks for freedom.
A child that wish to be hugged.
A girl that wish to feel a man's heart.
A woman that wish to have a family.
A child that a mother doesn't want.
A girl that everyone fears.
A woman who will never have her dreams.
Damned, cursed and casted away.
Never to feel or touch another person.
For forever she will be alone.

Note: I got the idea in writing up this poem and I got inspired from Faeza's picture of Rogue from X-Men (http://riotfaerie.deviantart.com/gallery/?q=touch+me#/d39oiap). I was the hardest poem I have ever done. I have never done a poem from a comic book character. Anyway, I'm not happy with this. I could have done better, but least I tried.
