The Tears Within

"Let the rain be your tears.
Let it be your sorrow.
A sorrow that you so stubbornly refuse to show."
And so the angel says.

"It is not that I wish not to show it
but it seems as if I've drown myself
that these tears won't come out."
As the man sat in front of the angel.

"Never let yourself drown in your own sorrow.
For ever man has his own heart and soul,
to show that you have what it takes to be human."
As the angel holds his hand.

"But what good will come of it,
once I have dried myself from the tears within me?
Where my heart is trapped within the life I've lost."
Says the man with a tear drop.

"Birth my love. You've let the tears drown you.
But once you cry out the sorrow within you,
you begin a new journey."
As the angel held him tight in closure.

Note: It was a sad night when it rained. I couldn't sleep and I feel like crying somehow. So I decided to write a poem/story while listening to Linkin Park's 'Leave Out All the Rest'.
